Gemara

The Gemara is taught with an eye towards making the student more proficient in learning, giving him the skills to learn on his own.

Shiurim are offered on three levels, from beginner to advanced. Students learn how to delve into the text and to understand the essence of the Gemara and its commentaries. The morning is dedicated to learning Gemara b'iyun, while the evening Seder is for Gemara bekiut.

Halacha

Part of the afternoon seder focuses on learning Halacha. We have developed an exciting and innovative program in Halacha which has met with much success. The Halacha is taught on two levels, one a bekiut program, while the more advanced level learns b'iyun, carefully analyzing the positions and issues leading up to the final psak.

Chumash

Chumash is another component of the afternoon seder, in which students gain proficiency in learning Chumash and Rashi.

In addition there is a special advanced shiur which focuses on the methodology of the Rambam.

Machshava

Students are given a taste of the depth and wealth of Jewish thought through the different topics aimed to stimulate as well as to inspire. The sefarim learned include Derech HaChaim and Nefesh Hashem.

Periodically, as well, lectures are presented pertaining to inyonei d'yoma by various staff members, which contribute to broadening and enhancing student perspectives on familiar subjects.
